At the end of this workshop series, students will be able to:

  • Estimate how much it will cost to live in different areas of the U.S.
  • Explain how financial choices and economic behavior influence personal credit scores.
  • Determine how credit scores impact borrowing costs.
  • Establish, maintain and protect their credit to minimize future borrowing costs.
  • Use a financial calculator to estimate borrowing costs under a variety of loan scenarios.
  • Identify strategies to avoid credit problems and correct them should they occur.
